NO. Ideal Opinions is not a paid subscription program. Membership is free to the general public. However, a valid email address is required to register.
How do I know if I qualify to join?
You must be at least 18 years old, have a valid email address and a resident of US, Canada or UK.
How do I become a member?
To become a member, click here to register and complete a short questionnaire. Registration takes less than 5 minutes.
Can I have more than one account?
NO. Membership is restricted to one account per person. While more than one person from the same household can register to join, each person must have a unique email address to participate.
How do I participate in the referral program?
Sign in and click on the “Referrals” link. Enter your referral’s name, email information and we’ll invite them to join.
How do I update my information?
To change your account and profile information, you must first sign in and select profile from the member menu.
What if I forget my password?
Click on “Forgot Password” near the login box on the top of the page. Enter your email address and we will send your login information to your registered email
How do I resign from the panel?
We certainly appreciate the efforts you’ve invested to register and become a member. As always, your opinion is invaluable to us. However, if you wish to cancel membership, you may login and click the “Unsubscribe” link. Please note that canceling your membership will result in losing all reward points earned to date.
What is expected of me?
As a member you will be invited to participate in research projects, including online surveys, opinion polls, mystery shopping, discussion forums conducted by our clients. Invitations are sent via email and will contain a unique URL, topic of the study and incentive information. If you wish to participate, click on the link, or paste it into your browser.
Am I compensated for my time?
Yes. Each time you complete a survey, you will be rewarded in one of several ways – cash, gift certificate, entry into a cash drawing, or reward points that can be redeemed for cash or valuable prizes.
How often will I receive a survey invitation?
We typically send survey invitations to our members about once a week. However, depending on research needs, we may ask you to complete surveys more frequently. You may also increase your chances to receive more surveys, by completing your member profiles.
How long will I have to participate in a survey?
While surveys can remain open for up to 2-3 days, participation deadline will be included in each survey invitation.
Am I obligated to complete each survey?
No. Survey participation with Ideal Opinions is purely voluntary. If you do not wish to participate in a survey, simply ignore the invitation. Keep in mind, however, that you may occasionally receive a survey reminder even if you ignore the invitation.
I’m not receiving surveys. Why?
There may be several reasons for this.

Why is the survey link not working?
If you click on the survey link and you’re unable to launch the survey, please make sure you do not have any pop-up blocker enabled on your browser. Can you resend a survey?
Please sign in to the member area to view all available surveys assigned to you.
When do I get my reward?
Rewards will be based on the type of surveys. It can be in the form of points or a drawing. Each survey completed will give you an opportunity to earn points and be entered into cash drawings. It’s a win-win situation.
How does the point system work?
Ideal Opinions offers IdealPoints. This program allows you to earn points for each survey you complete with Ideal Opinions. Earn enough points and you can redeem them for cash, gift certificates or deposit directly into your paypal account.
How can I use my points?
You may redeem your points for cash or deposit directly into your paypal account.
Note: To redeem your points, you must have accumulated at least 1000 points.
